Technology
What technology do I bring with me? The music is important, but the technology that is used to play the music is just as important, there will never be the right atmosphere if the technology you choose is too small and doesn't sound good, is unreliable and gives up the spirit during the party, the celebration is over before it really begins. The lighting is often underestimated whether it's for dancing and "a few colorful lights are flashing" or the lighting at a wedding. Everything should work reliably for the evening to be successful. During our preliminary talk, I will always ask how big the location is and how many guests will be present at the celebration. These are important factors to determine how large the system you bring with you must be at least in order to achieve a good sound in the location. I always make sure that reliable brand technology is used in order to minimize a failure of the technology. I play with the TRAKTOR Pro3 software with the TRAKTOR Kontrol S4 MK3 controller on an 8-channel mixer to also add live performances such as guitar, extra microphones or other input devices, e.g. for karaoke or beamer. I always have a wireless microphone and a cable microphone with me. As speakers I use the Bose F1 system with two tops and two subwoofers. In terms of lighting technology, I own a 2 x 4 LED bar, Derby, a Quad Gem, two 250W moving heads and a laser class 2 according to DIN EN 60 825-1 (VDE 0837 Part 1): 2001-11. A hazer (for light fog) can be used to support the light and beam effects. The light is controlled with the Light Rider DMX Interface and the Light Rider App via tablet. For larger events or special requests, sound and light can be rented.
